Face it, in just a few more years EVERYONE is going to be accessing us on their mobile devices.
Forget about handing out business cards, the new business card is connecting by device or by network. It’s like a constantly evolving resume.
In this post I want to share three Mobile Marketing tools that I believe to be the key to how people will connect with us in during the Mobile Revolution.
Mobile Marketing Tool #1: Posterous
By far the most underrated mobile marketing tool TODAY. Have you tried it out from your iPhone? You can post anything from photo’s, to videos, to audio clips.
The best part is that you don’t even have to log in to post – you can just email it in with your headline and Posterous syndicates it to your other networks. Phone numbers are live in posts, with a call to action you can expect the phone to ring.
Mobile Marketing Tool #2: Scribd [Mobile]
Scribd is a great place to share “reports” and other long copy stuff like sales letters and ebooks. You can send people directly to the mobile download pages and voila, a piece of your content lives inside their phone.
If you’re smart you’ll make sure that “content” has plenty of value and a clear way to get in touch with you.
Mobile Marketing Tool #3: Blog Talk Radio [Mobile]
I’m going out on a limb here, but I feel like there’s a shortage of infotainment out there. I can’t stand to be interrupted, that’s why I only watch TV via DVR and don’t listen to the radio at all. I prefer Podcasts, Pandora, and Blog Talk Radio.
Blog Talk radio can now stream on the iPhone 4 (maybe earlier models to?) You can create episodes as short as 15 minutes. Make sure you deliver some good content and have a call to action at the beginning and end of the show so people listening can get more info or subscribe.
PS- You want tips. I’ve got them. So why don’t you subscribe to the feed and I’ll share them with you?
